To Make Myself Clear (2012)

A young woman is alone on stage.

She translates the others’ words without being able to express her own. She is a hostess, a translator, or maybe is she useless. Through a straight back and deadpan smiles, she tries to rebel, leave or simply let her imagination wander… until she finds herself back in this absurd situation she was in.

Inspired by the instinctive use of our bodies when we express ourselves and by the falsely keen greetings from those whose work consists in being in a good mood, ‘To Make Myself Clear’ is the portrait of a neurosis.
